How did we reach here?

Having to taste the new Summer Menu was a real pleasure. Situated in Lutyens Delhi, Lodi – The Garden Restaurant, flagship property of Sewara Hospitality, is a popular synonym of refreshing brunches and romantic dinners. A favorite amongst youngsters for casual dining, Lodi – The Garden Restaurant is amidst lush botanical surroundings and bamboo railings.

What does the place look like?

Lodi property is known for it’s beautiful naturesque. Sitting between such lush greenery, with birds chirping and the mellow country music is a sure soul relaxer. Just next to the Lodhi Garden, Lodi – The Garden Restaurant by Sewara Hospitality is a retreat.

What do they serve?

Serving European cuisine to Indian and Foreign visitors, Lodi has an expertise at experimenting and giving you an over the top experience.

What did we eat?

Water melon, feta and fresh mint gazpacho – ₹ 695/-

Now as per Wikipedia, Gazpacho is a soup of raw vegetables and served cold, normally with a tomato base, originating in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia. This version of Gazpacho at Lodi – The Garden Restaurant was combined with some fresh water melon, feta cheese and mint. Served in a martini glass, this cold soup is refreshing, smooth and tasty.

Farm fresh greens, tomatoes, pear, sunflower seeds and goat cheese with extra virgin olive oil & honey dressing – ₹ 425/-

One of my most favorite element of this Spring salad was the freshness of tomatoes and pears and the amazing flavor of sunflower seeds, goat cheese and the honey dressing.

Pickled Chilli stuffed with Goat Cheese, spinach, honey mustard dip – ₹ 425/-

This is one of the best starters for spicy food lovers. A spicy but not hot starter; The spicyness settles after a couple of bites so don’t be alarmed at the first bite.

Fettucine with roasted vegetable, cream and confit garlic – ₹ 595/-

While you’re running errands in the heat of Delhi, a glass of wine and a fettucine with some freshly roasted veggies and cream are the best quick-meal option. A super versatile dish!

Curried Arancini; char siu tofu, wilted spinach, fresh basil oil and sriracha – ₹ 665/-

Who knew tofu could be so flavorful? A delectable version of the popular Chinese barbecued pork dish also known as chashao or char siew, char siu at Lodi – The Garden Restaurant is a seasoned and grilled tofu chunks dish served with wilted spinach, fresh basil and sriracha for a tender and aromatic meal. Since char siu is usually served plain or often stuffed inside a steamed dumpling or paired with rice or noodles, the version at Lodi comes with Curried Aranchini, an Italian dish made of rice an steamed veggies. A perfect meal!

Fully appreciate this super tasty grilled sole fish with seasoned veggies and lemon. A real treat during a hot summer day lunch!

Homemade Fig Ice cream – ₹ 295/-

What better than having an inviting homemade ice cream such as Fig is meant to make you crave for more.The depth of this ice cream touches the soul just with such amazing flavor. A real pleasant treat!

How do they serve?

The staff is really helpful in suggesting seating of your choice and mood. The service from the welcome dish to the 6-course meal has been exquisite. Timely served, all the dishes and drinks were served totally fresh and at the appropriate consumption temperature.
